Suzanne talks with Danny Mantle of Renwood Winery and they taste the 2003 Grandmere and Grandpere Zinfandels made from a blend of 100+ year-old Zinfandel vines.

VINEYARDS
Grandpère® Zinfandel and Grandmère® Zinfandel come from a vineyard situated behind Renwood Winery in Plymouth, California. This 20 acres vineyard is home to the oldest clone of Zinfandel in America. Believed to be 130 years old. This vineyard is planted on its own rootstock and is classically head pruned. Tight berry clusters, deep concentrated flavors, this vineyard produces award winning Zinfandels.

• The Pour Disk worked great but dripped wine when we took it out of the bottle. Useful for a big party or if you’re a bartender.
• Wine Away Red Wine Stain remover from Evergreen Labs Suzanne spilled wine all over the carpet and this took it out. Good stuff, really works.
• Epic Wine Filter and Saver is good for unfiltered wine with sediment. It also says it preserves the wine, but the filter and pour spout are the main advantages.
• Wine Decanter Washing Brush from Brush Tech This is the BOMB! Great way to clean your decanter no mater what the shape or size.
• Wine Label Lifter is a good, and easy, tool if you want to save your wine labels and perhaps frame them or start a wine scrapbook.
• Private Preserve Wine Preserver shoots an inert gas into the wine so it won’t oxidize - keeps your wine fresh.
